Our local Target was recently refreshed to become a SuperTarget which basically means it now has a grocery store in the middle of it. The number one improvement I've noticed is that they now carry mint It's Its three to a box for $2.69. The second thing I noticed is the "green" frozen section. To save energy, the freezers are dark as you approach them but light up the closer you get. You can create a pretty cool effect by running down the aisle and getting all 20 of them to light up in sequence. Maybe someone will use it for a music video backdrop. But the secondary effect of these motion sensors is highlighting the products within. Instead of appraoching a giant wall of brightly lit foods (which tend to all have the same visual weight) you see each case spring to light and find yourself scanning it to see if anything interests you.
