White became the most popular car color in 2007 after 7 straight years of silver. I have always thought white must outsell other colors because of all of those fleet vehicles (Comcast vans, contractor trucks, etc). But white and pearl white look like they're the favorite. I have owned 2 white cars, both in Oregon, and I have to say silver and gray are much more practical colors for our winters. With white you can tell exactly where the car is dirty, and heaven forbid you touch the paint anywhere. You'll leave a bright white streak - good for writing nasty notes on the car of someone you don't like. Or love notes. Our next dream car project is to mattify (that is, make matte) a pearl white STI Limited. It won't be allowed out of the garage unless it's dry and sunny outside.
Anyone else feel like they saw a whole lotta metallic orange in 2007?
